One of our reviewers called this a driving song and I'm so glad they did
because it exists in my mind in car, early evening, going somewhere, going
somewhere together. It also is about how you go through things together
with someone, when they're hurting, you hurt with them, when they smile,
it makes you smile. D.
6 SONG FOR TOMORROW by DANIEL GOODMAN
You quietly awake, to see the dying day
The silver green of grass
The shimmer as we pass
The
darkness seems so bright
The earth is breathing light
Clouds closing in
Celestial reasoning
When you're smiling I'm smiling too
And when I'm dreaming,
I dream of you
Drive
into the night
The evening slips from sight
Confession in sky
Stars that amplify
Some memories don't die
That German lullaby
The
architect of sound
The whisper of the ground
LISTEN
to a sample.
