Q. What is your favourite NFaC song to play?
A. That would have to be September Song - I think! or... Doh ! They're
all great!
Q.
What is your favourite NFaC song to listen to?
A. Again tricky but "Take me in"
Q.
What was your favourite NFaC moment?
A. Easier to think of least favourites, but favourite moment would have
to be sitting on Torquay seafront having an english breakfast at 9 or
10am ish having already driven all the way there for a gig. Beautiful
sunshine, great food, lovely scenery, Fantastic company. (This ranks alongside
many after-gig curries, and playing onstage in front of hundreds of people
of course!)
Q.
What music are you enjoying at the moment?
A. Mostly anything "solid jazz" - Big band, modern, piano, latin,
acid, funk. Loving Jason Rebello (pianist), Jacqui Dankworth (done sound
for her!), James Taylor Quartet, Corduroy, Brand New Heavies......I could
go on but...
Q.
What was the best gig you ever went to?
A. Chick Corea and the Elektric band II playing at the Cambridge Corn
Exchange in about 1995.
Q.
Where would you love to be right now?
A. On a boat (motor cruiser not long boat), cruising down a river slowly
taking in the beauty of creation and unwinding. Preferably on the Norfolk
broads.
